This information will help you prepare for your registration at ÖØ¿ÚζSM University. This page is specific to postgraduate admissions at the ÖØ¿ÚζSM campus. If you hold an offer for a course based at ÖØ¿ÚζSM University at Shrivenham please, see the Shrivenham arrival and registration information.
Registration is an important step in becoming a student at ÖØ¿ÚζSM and is the formal contract between you and the University. It also enables you to use the libraries and computing facilities and receive your University student ID card. Full details and guidance can be found in the University general student handbook.
ÖØ¿ÚζSM campus pre-arrival information
If you are due to register, please ensure that you have completed the following prior to departing for ÖØ¿ÚζSM:
- Completed your online registration task through . The task will be sent to you prior to your registration date, normally after all conditions of your offer have been met;
- Organised your ATAS certificate (if required).
- Organised your visa (if required).
- Sent any outstanding documentation to meet the requirements of your offer to study@cranfield.ac.uk or uploaded it to *

Registration
Registration day
Your registration dates are listed here. Specific timings and more information about main arrivals week will be sent to you ahead of your arrival.
You must complete your online registration via EVE before arrival. You will need to bring your passport and, if required, any visa documentation to complete your registration in person. We must view these documents in person, even if you have previously uploaded them.
Any outstanding conditions to your offer must be uploaded to your application record prior to arrival as they need to go through the appropriate approval process before the condition is met and we can fully register you. If you have any conditions of your offer outstanding on the date you register, we may be able to temporarily register you. This will be explained to you by the registration team.
Visas and immigration
At the registration event you will need to bring the following documents with you (even if these have been uploaded previously):
- Passport
- BRP card or evidence of your digital immigration status
If you been given digital immigration status (eVisa), or you have status under the EU Settlement Scheme, we need to verify the status you have been granted. Depending on your circumstances, you need to take one the following actions:
- If you are on a Student visa, please generate a 'share code' for ÖØ¿ÚζSM/Education purposes and upload it to CAS Shield (Enroly). If you have not already uploaded your ‘share code’ to CAS Shield (Enroly), please bring your valid ‘share code’ with you to your registration event
- If you have status under the EU Settlement Scheme or any other visa category, please generate a 'share code' for ÖØ¿ÚζSM/Education purposes and bring this valid ‘share code’ with you to your registration event.
- For other visa categories, please either follow the instructions above and provide your ‘share code’ at registration or bring your BRP card and/or visa to your registration event.
Ten top arrival preparation tips for overseas students
The Home Office Border Force has produced a helpful list of ten top tips for first time students arriving to commence their studies in the UK. The tips are designed to ensure that you are not unduly delayed as you enter the UK by helping you prepare for what you may need to present at border control.
Follow these top tips for a smooth journey through the UK border:
- If you’re from a non (EEA) country, complete the landing card given to you during your flight before you arrive at border control.
- Have your passport ready. Remove it from any cover, and remember to remove sunglasses and hats.
- Keep information about the course you’re studying in your hand luggage. This must be in paper copy (not an electronic copy on tablet or phone). This includes your university Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number.
- Keep recent bank statements and details of where you are staying in your hand luggage, Border Force officers may ask to see this information.
- Expect Border Force officers to ask simple questions about your stay in the UK when you arrive at passport control.
- Do not bring in any meat or dairy products from outside the European Union (EU). There are restrictions on traditional medicines, food products such as fish, eggs and honey, and some fruit, vegetables and plants (including bulbs, seeds, cut flowers and tree bark).
- There are also on the amount of tobacco, alcohol and gifts you can bring to the UK. If you exceed your duty-free allowance and do not declare them, all of your items could be taken away from you.
- Never bring in counterfeit goods, illegal drugs, offensive weapons or indecent or obscene material. and will require a licence or permit.
- (or the equivalent in another currency) if you are travelling from a country outside the EU.
- Never give false or misleading information (including forged or counterfeit documents).
